Boomerang Acquisition by KT Connections


KT Connections is proud to announce its acquisition Boomerang Enterprise Management, including the phone and technology divisions. Boomerang officially closed its business operations the first of November of 2017.

KT Connections hired on three of Boomerang’s employees., who support the acquired business units. Those three employees have grown into 27 staff members now serving Western South Dakota and surrounding areas.

“This is a strategic acquisition for KT Connections,” said President Paul Sterkel. “This provides a way to grow our customer base and expand our IT-solutions-and-services portfolio. We are particularly excited to add the Allworx phone partnership to support customers in Rapid City and expanding our managed services offerings. This acquisition is the best way to continue accomplishing our growth objectives, add key skilled IT resources and serve our customers and market.”

KT Connections is launching more cybersecurity tools for customers this year and increased its offering of managed services, a growing IT practice where KT Connections provides comprehensive IT services for customers improving the alignment of technology and business objectives.

KT Connections core IT competencies include managed technology services, managed security solutions and training, cloud based offerings, and unified communications.
